It was awesome. I've ordered discount running shoes online 3 times before from other retailers and in every situation, I called about 10 days after placing the order only to be told they didn't actually have my size (yet they made no attempt to contact me via phone or email to tell me this). With the Gear Lounge, I received my shoes within 5 business days of when I ordered them (which I think is fantastic giving the shipping was free...sometimes it seems to take at least a week and a half when things are shipped that way). At one point I called the Gear Lounge to check on the status of my shoes and they answered immediately (no holding time) and were extremely friendly and knowledgeable...and the shoes showed up exactly when they said they would. I definitely plan on using them again and have since referred them to friends. I also appreciate Google's involvement...it made me feel more secure in ordering from a vendor I had no previous business relationship or experience with. Thanks! « less

After I ordered the product I received confirmation my order went through, but never a shipping conformation I had to email them to see when they shipped it. They did get back to me within a timely manner.
When I received the item it was the incorrect item. Unfortunately the last item I ordered was shipped to someone else and was the last one they had. It took a while for me to finally receive my item, but they sent it via 2 day mail directly from the person who had received my boots. So overall their customer service over the phone and email is good. So getting the wrong item was probably a fluke, and I would shop with them in the future.
