Description

The new Experience 83 is a high performance carving machine with a definitive freeride touch and feel that provides advanced and expert skiers with an unprecedented and powerful do-it-all ski. AutoTurn Rocker combines a slightly rockered tip and tail with traditional camber underfoot to help create a ski equally at home floating through deep pow or laying trenches on groomers. On hardpack and variable snow the traditional camber delivers power, energy and edge grip while the rockered tip and tail dramatically improves turn initiation. Combined with a 83mm waist, the AutoTurn Rocker profile blasts through chop and crud while supplying adequate float on the deep days. Whether charging glades, bowls, hardpack or bumps the Experience 83 is a true one-ski-quiver and a new breed of all-mountain high performance skis.

  • Auto Turn: MULTISNOW - VERSATILITY - FORGIVENESS - EASY TO HANDLE - SPEED CONTROL Rossignol's Autoturn is engineered with 70% traditional high camber underfoot while the remaining 30% of the tip and tail features low rocker. The high camber underfoot delivers power, energy, and edge grip for on-piste performance. The subtle rocker tip and tail delivers easy steering, and effortless speed control for better versatility in any terrain or snow type.
  • Cascade Tip: The new Cascade Tip uses varying shapes of metal and fiberglass laminates at staggered lengths to provide a lighter extremity. The unique layered shapes control tip torsion which smoothes out turn initiation and improves full edge contact. The lighter weight tip improves the swing weight of the ski for quick and adaptable turn initiation.
  • Central Dualtec: Combining the best features of sandwich and cap construction. The cap increases the ski's durability and facilitates rebound while the traditional sidewalls underfoot produce crisp, direct edging pressure. The benefits of the combined constructions yield smooth flex and strong edging for comfortable control.
  • Extended Sidecut: The sidecut continues beyond the contact point where the tip and tail rocker start. As speeds and edge angles increase more of the sidecut is engaged resulting in powerful full length edge grip. At lower speeds and edge angles the sidecut is less engaged for more maneuverability and ease.
  • Twin Pulsion X: A new larger metal binding-to-plate interface increases torsional stiffness which translates to stronger performance and precision. A control beam combined with Twin VAS (Visco Material) that absorbs vibrations, facilitates rebound directing pressure to the extremities. The tool-free binding simply slides on the integrated TPX system for easy adjustment.
