Description

The new Experience 98 is a powerful all-mountain charger that combines beefy construction with a surprising versatility and ease-of-use for strong expert skiers. AutoTurn Rocker combines a slightly rockered tip and tail with traditional camber underfoot to create a ski equally at home floating through deep pow or laying trenches on groomers. On hardpack and variable snow the traditional camber delivers power energy and edge grip while the rockered tip and tail dramatically improves turn initiation. Combined with a 98mm waist the AutoTurn Rocker profile blasts through chop and crud and floats through the silky deep. Ski pow all morning rip groomers in the afternoon all on one super-powered ski. Whether charging glades bowls or hardpack the Experience 98 is a true one-ski-quiver and a new breed of all-mountain high performance skis.

  • Auto Turn: MULTISNOW - VERSATILITY - FORGIVENESS - EASY TO HANDLE - SPEED CONTROL Rossignol's Autoturn is engineered with 70% traditional high camber underfoot while the remaining 30% of the tip and tail features low rocker. The high camber underfoot delivers power, energy, and edge grip for on-piste performance. The subtle rocker tip and tail delivers easy steering, and effortless speed control for better versatility in any terrain or snow type.
  • Cascade Tip: The new Cascade Tip uses varying shapes of metal and fiberglass laminates at staggered lengths to provide a lighter extremity. The unique layered shapes control tip torsion which smoothes out turn initiation and improves full edge contact. The lighter weight tip improves the swing weight of the ski for quick and adaptable turn initiation.
  • Extended Sidecut: The sidecut continues beyond the contact point where the tip and tail rocker start. As speeds and edge angles increase more of the sidecut is engaged resulting in powerful full length edge grip. At lower speeds and edge angles the sidecut is less engaged for more maneuverability and ease.
