Description

Rossignol's new Temptation 88 is the most versatile women's one-ski-quiver we've ever built. With the heart of a high-performance carving machine and freeride touch and feel, it's one of the most perfectly balanced all-mountain skis on the market. The turn shape has a round organic feel with tons of grip but allows easy manueverability and speed control, never locking you in. AutoTurn Rocker combines traditional camber underfoot for power, energy and edge grip with a rockered tip and tail that dramatically improves turn initiation and floatation in any condition. The Temptation 88 is a new breed of women's all-mountain ski that rips rail-to-rail on groomers while still wide waisted enough to manuever powder and crud with ease.

Features:
  • 50% Groomed / 50% Un-groomed
  • SIDECUT: 135-88-124
  • Structure: MINICAP SANDWICH
  • Core: FIBERGLASS WOOD
  • Camber height: HIGH
  • Rocker height: LOW
  • Camber length: 70%
  • Rocker length: 30%
  • Tip: CASCADE TIP
  • Profile sidecut: EXTENDED
  • Tip protector: INOX
  • Auto Turn: MULTISNOW - VERSATILITY - FORGIVENESS - EASY TO HANDLE - SPEED CONTROL Rossignol's Autoturn is engineered with 70% traditional high camber underfoot while the remaining 30% of the tip and tail features low rocker. The high camber underfoot delivers power, energy, and edge grip for on-piste performance. The subtle rocker tip and tail delivers easy steering, and effortless speed control for better versatility in any terrain or snow type.
  • Cascade Tip: The new Cascade Tip uses varying shapes of metal and fiberglass laminates at staggered lengths to provide a lighter extremity. The unique layered shapes control tip torsion which smoothes out turn initiation and improves full edge contact. The lighter weight tip improves the swing weight of the ski for quick and adaptable turn initiation.
  • Extended Sidecut: The sidecut continues beyond the contact point where the tip and tail rocker start. As speeds and edge angles increase more of the sidecut is engaged resulting in powerful full length edge grip. At lower speeds and edge angles the sidecut is less engaged for more maneuverability and ease.
