Description

The Burner is Salomon's Tapered Directional speed machine with a firmer flex for max edge hold on steeps and banked turns. Alien Light core construction with Ghost XY carbon stringers give you the strongest rider response in the board line.
Features:

Terrain: All Mountain - Salomon All Mountain gear is made to point, pop and drop on any mountain, anywhere in the world. Their version of backcountry and all mountain gear goes way beyond the old 'steep and deep' paradigm - it's wide-open, fully powered fun. Boards, boots and bindings that blow your riding level through the roof - while you shred the top of the world!
Board Flex: 5
Shape: Tapered Directional - Tail width is slightly tapered (10-15mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack.
Camber Profile: Camber - Get back all the energy you give with this classic full response profile
Base: Zeolit - Small particles of hydrophobic Zeolit, fused into high molecular weight Sintered base to generate an exothermic reaction on snow; a micro-thin film of water between the snow and your base.
Sidecut: Quadratic - A blend of elliptic curves for easy turn initiation, effortless direction changes and fluid edge to edge transitions.
Inserts: 4x2
Factory Finish: Fine, Full EB - Critical edge bevel process as well as a 2 degree bevel to the entire running length for solid edge hold with no hang-ups
Sidewalls: Rubber Rails - Soft 2mm rubber cuddles up to their stainless steel edges to keep your ride smooth and chatter free.
Construction: Ghost Construction - Futuristic construction where core materials and carbon stringers are strategically used to reach an incredible board feel and superior control.
Core Type: Alien Light - The Alien Light core uses hand-selected lightwood and Isocell strips to reach the pinnacle of core lightness and consistent flex. High quality wood for dampening and strength where you need it, and air (isocell) where you don‚Äôt.
